Hypocrisy; The Bane Of African Politics

Politics

Such a game. A lovely game in places with sanity. In those places, you can lose supporters by uttering just one simple statement. It is a game of the wise, and those who play it enjoy it, together with the spectators. Places where spectators enjoy punishing whomever they want punished with their votes. That's a game of politics.

It is something terribly different in Nigeria. Here the money and how ruthless you can be determines it all. Here they support evil and injustice provided it is meted on their enemies. A very terrible game.

It turned out that the only real defenders of Ex Gov. Emeka Ihedioha were IPOB members. This is because they are genuine, unselfish, and never defended him for any material gain. They are simply there to support justice and defend the people. It isn't even about Ihedioha for them, it is about the PEOPLE whom the supreme Court cheated. They were the people that wrote on Facebook. IPOB leader spoke on Radio Biafra, but those Ihedioha gave appointments were all mute. It is deadly to make a stand at that time, for them it isn't about justice. It is about them getting something out of the government.

I see the e-rats who wrote for Ihedioha before the supreme Court evil judgment, now subtly acknowledging Hope Uzodimma in their write ups. Slowly they are flashing some green lights. I see them justify an obvious lopsided appointment of Hope Uzodimma. For them people from Ideato should be left out. They see justice there. I am not surprised. Most of them will be recruited soonest. Four years is a very long time to stay idle. And who knows if the supreme Court will return Hope again after this four years. So why not rally round hope. Very wise for the conscienceless individuals they are.

The game is evil around here. They say in politics there are no permanent friends and no permanent enemy. And I say the above is a misnomer. That you are in party A or B shouldn't make you all enemies. Your joining a party should be ideologically driven. That's why you should not be jumping parties. The end point of every party should be for the good of the PEOPLE, not for the selfish interest of the politicians. For when the PEOPLE gain, the politicians are gaining too. The two parties should be a two different roads leading to one destination. Bit sadly, today you run from PDP to APC, tomorrow you are back to PDP as presidential candidate and no one sees anything wrong with it.

Politics is a terrible thing here. Those of them abroad knows what is obtainable yet they supported Buhari and Atiku. Buhari is an illiterate that can't oversee nursery school. Atiku is a former APC member that brought Buhari. Also a former 8year VP that swam in corruption.

There must be total overhauling if we must get it right. Every IPOB member must understand that no one that supports politics is genuine about the restoration of Biafra. By politics, I mean a card carrying member of a party in Nigeria. It is a complicated situation. The greatest attackers of IPOB in 2019 were PDP supporters.
And your attackers in 2023 will also be PDP supporters.

One thing that is common with both APC and PDP members is that non of them wants 1999 constitution to be discarded. Both wants and protects one Nigeria. Even some of them speaking against 1999 constitution today, will start defending it should they get into power tomorrow.

Know your enemies and tackle them appropriately.
